So I know I just started this blog but since the new year is coming up way too quickly, I decided to make a list of the books that I have read in 2015 and want to review, books that I want to read in 2016 and just some goals for my blog overall.

My Lovely Readers,
Thank you so much for helping me with the start of my blog. There will be a lot of new stuff coming your way in 2016. I will be joining the 2016 Contemporary Book Challenge hosted by The Book Belles and Jillians Books and hope that some of y'all will too. Later, I will post the list of books that I hope to read in 2016 as well as the books that I have read in 2015 and the books I hope to review in the new year. So with that, Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays! ~Brooke This is my first review: Cinderella’s Broken Slipper by Sapphire is a YA romance novel. It was published in May 2014 and is the first in “The Princesses” series which I will be reviewing later on. I believe this is a self-published book and be warned, there are some spelling errors within the book as well but they are minor ones. The book is about Cindy, a 16 year old girl who moves to a small town with her widowed stepmother after her father dies of a heart attack. Her ‘evil’ stepmother has never worked a day in her life and now has to raise the family of her two daughters and Cindy. Cindy is basically treated as well, Cinderella. When she goes to school, her stepsisters are automatically the popular girls but Cindy gets left with the outcasts of the school and they befriend her. Her friends are an interesting bunch of girls. They are all misfits and all have their own backstories about how they ended up going to the same high school. Each of her friends portray another fairy tale princess and it was fun for me to guess at their ‘modern’ stories. The rest of the books in the series focus on each of the other girls and it was easy to get really attached to each of the girls. There is also a fairy godmother who shows up sometime in the middle of the book and tries to help Cindy pair up with the school’s soccer prince, Aaron. I'm excited to announce that my first review will be posted tomorrow. The book I will be reviewing is 'Cinderella's Broken Slipper' by Sapphire. I hope y'all are as excited as I am about this. Look for it tomorrow!

I am happy to take suggetions about which books to read and review so if you have any suggetions or comments or even just want to chat about books, you can submit a comment through the comment section that I'll have up and running or email me at the link below. I look forward to discovering more books through all of you and hope that we can all benefit from my blog!
