In the post I put up last week, I talked about the books that authors have wrote set in 'The Royals of Monterra' world already and said that I would put up a post with all the books listed. Well it's a week over due but here it is:
This post took me a lot longer to put together than I thought but I also have the books linked to their Amazon page so you can purchase them there if you want to read them. I have a couple of the books already and those reviews should be coming out within the next week (fingers crossed). Let me know which of these books you want to read in the comments below! ~Brooke

Hey guys,
my blog is finally up on Bloglovin so y'all should all go and follow me on there!! ~Brooke I haven't heard about Kindle World until I contacted Sariah Wilson and she told me about her new Kindle World. A Kindle World is basically a fictional world where authors can write fan fiction set in a 'world' and publish them through Amazon. Normally you can't sell fan fiction so these worlds lets you sell these stories. Amazon has a list of the worlds that are licensed.
I am so happy for Sariah because her new world launched today. The name of the new world is Royals of Monterra, the place Royal Date and Royal Chase are set in. (You can see my previous post for the ARC review on Royal Chase). There are already so many great books set in Monterra that are already on my to-read list and I can't wait to be able to review them either. I'll put up a list of all the books that have been written about the world already in a later post. Who knows? I might even try to write something in the World (but of course not be published). ~Brooke Royal Chase by Sariah Wilson [ARC Review] Publication Date: January 26, 2016 Genre: Contemporary, Romance Format: I received a copy from NetGalley in exchange for a honest review Royal Chase is the second book in ‘The Royals of Monterra’ series. It is Lemon and Dante’s story of while Dante is on the reality TV show Marry Me and Lemon has to fill in for a missing girl. Summary from Amazon: “Booking her client, Prince Dante of Monterra, on reality show Marry Me is a royal coup for PR agent Lemon Beauchamp. But thanks to a last-minute glitch, Lemon must pretend to be one of the contestants vying to win the playboy prince’s love and then live happily ever after—at least until the publicity tour ends. I'm posting the reviews just a little out of order since I'm posting this review before Lola and the boy next door. I read them both at the same time but this one just seemed easier to write the review. Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins Publication Date: August 14, 2014 Genre: Contemporary Romance (Just before you start reading the review, I just wanted to say that I don’t usually go on and on about how I loved the book so this is one of those series that makes me just want to keep reading about them forever. I’m not always this crazy ;) ) Hey guys, I can't believe a month has already gone by since I started the blog. I just wanted to say thank you all of the people who have actually checked out this site and it makes me so happy that I have a way to share my love of books and reading. There will be a lot of new content coming your way in the upcoming months and I can't wait to talk with other bloggers. Let me know what things I should post in the comments below. I love talking with you guys!!
I've been looking at a lot of books and thinking to myself, "I really want to read this" but then I never remember to actually go back and read the book so I thought a good solution would be to list out the books that I want to read here and then I might actually remember to read them.
So my want-to-read book list for January is:
I think that's it for now but I'll come back and edit this if there's more to add. Look for my reviews after I read these books and next month, I'll post the list of the books that i have read this month as well as the books I want to read in February. ~Brooke Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins Genre: Young Adult Contemporary Romance Published: December 2, 2010 I can’t believe that I just read this book a month ago but it was published over 5 years ago. I loved how well this was written. This book is cute, intense, romantic, funny, and dramatic. It captures romance of the City of Love. Background: Anna is looking forward to her senior year in Atlanta. She has her best friend, her crush on a coworker at her job in the movie theater and her future planned out ahead of her. |
