Hey Guys!! It’s the end of another month and you know what that means: a recap of everything that happened this month, both on the blog and a little into my personal life.
As for school, this month has been said by older students to be the hardest month of high school. Of course, my school is a really academic intense curriculum, so every month feels like it’s the worst month. I had a week just packed full of tests and quizzes and projects, but it’s finally over...for now at least. If you caught it near the beginning of the month, I had to put Classic Fridays on pause for this month, because of everything that was just piling up at the beginning of the month. Not to say that I disliked creating questions every week, in fact, I love creating the questions every week, and the reading your answers because I feel like I get to find out more about you, but it just took so much longer than I originally anticipated. Since I’ve been reading so much this month, I thought I would highlight a little bit recurring things that’s been popping up in my books. I feel like this is pretty intentional when I see one or more of these topics pop up in the summary, I just have to pick them up! So here are the three that’s been popping up:
On the topic of books that I read this month, remember my challenge for myself at the beginning of the month? Well just as a refresher, I was planning on reading a Sarah Dessen book a week, as I had bought most of them at Half Price a while ago. Well, it didn’t start off so well, as I didn’t read them in the first 2 weeks of this month, but I started reading them on the bus to and from school, and during lunch, and now I’ve read 7 out of the 12 books! If you’re curious, here’s the 7 that I’ve read:
In terms of the posts that I had this month, I had a doozy of reviews, blitzes, Top Ten Tuesday posts, and more. I even had a guest post this month by Erin Fletcher which, if you have not read yet, you really should. I guess that’s about it for what happened this month, but boy do I have a lot more info for you about Novermber coming up on the first, so if you don’t want to miss that post, be sure to sign up for my email list which you can find it on the side bar on the main page, or you can follow me on social media @BrookeEvans2001 on Twitter and @thecozylittlebooknook on Instagram. I will be back soon with another post very, very soon! ~Brooke
