Hey everyone! I am back today with another installment with Classic Fridays. If you don’t know what Classic Fridays is, here is the page on my blog where you can get more information on it: Classic Fridays. A quick rundown of the project is that this is a weekly meme and anyone can join us in it! We'd love to see you join us in the upcoming weeks! Don't forget to join the mailing list if you want the questions sent to you every week! This week's topic is Debuts Generic Q’s for debuts: What are your top 5 favorite debuts of 2016 (so far)? (#ClassicFridays prompt for IG) Head over to my Instagram, @thecozylittlebooknook and you’ll find the picture of 5 of the 2016 debuts. While you’re over there, why not give it a like and a follow? (*wink, wink*) Which 2016 debuts where you highly anticipating but have not read yet? One book that I’ve been wanting to read but haven’t read yet is The Season by Jonah Lisa Dyer and Stephen Dyer. I’m hoping to get it for my birthday next month though! If you had a free pass ticket to 3 debut bookish worlds, which ones would you like to visit the most? Hm… I’m not sure. I’m gonna pass on this one. Favorite debut book boyfriend and why? Can I saw all of them? (of the book that I’ve read so far). Especially Ren from Love and Gelato and Evan from The Way to Game The Walk of Shame. They’re all so cute and ugh… why can’t I find someone like that? Favorite cover of a debut author Again can I say all of them? I absolutely adore the cover of Summer of Sloane and The Way to Game The Walk of Shame because of how the colors balance each other and really represents the book. Who is your most favorite character from a debut novel? For this one I definitely have to say Sloane from Summer of Sloane. She’s such a badass and I love that about her. She’s not afraid to speak her mind and stand up for herself, while being able to care for others at the same time. Q’s about the latest debut read: What made you pick this book up? My latest debut read was Love and Gelato by Jenna Welsh Evans. I really liked the summary from the back of the book and who doesn’t like reading about foreign countries? I knew I just had to read it when I saw it. How did you hear about the book? The same way i hear about any other book, through twitter or Instagram, or on someone’s blog. Actually I’m pretty sure I saw it on all 3 platforms before actually picking it up. What genre was the book in? Is it something that you normally read? The genre was YA Contemporary Romance and is definitely something that I normally read! Would you read more books by this author? Why or why not? I will definitely read more books by this author. I really like her style of writing so I will be reading her next book when it comes out! Also, don’t forget to go and check out the posts from everyone else who posted Classic Fridays posts today! (The links are on the Classic Fridays page) :)
So that’s it for this week. Don’t forget to check back on that page and find out more information if you are interested in joining us next week!
