Where has time gone? April literally just started yesterday and now...it's over. Nonetheless, it's been a good month. (Also, I almost forgot that yesterday was the last day of April. I really thought I had a couple more days to complete this post).
Here's a rundown of what happened on The Cozy Little Book Nook this month.
At the beginning of the month, I made it a personal goal to post at least 3-4 times a week. Quickly though, I realized that my current schedule did not allow me to post that frequently so I changed it to 2 posts a week, and I'm happy to say, I (more or less) met my goal. During this past week though, I only had the chance to post once, which was amazing considering the fact that I wasn’t even planning on posting at all.
Books that I read:
I realized that the books that I put on my TBR lists are never the books that I actually read during the month. But nonetheless, I still found time to read some amazing books. Here they are: (in no particular order)
I am really upset because I was planning on writing and posting reviews for all the books in The Selection Serie this month but I just couldn’t find time after doing homework to do so. I’m really sad about that but I am planning on writing them in the future...eventually.
What happened at school this month?
At school, we just finished the fairy tales unit and we're now headed into the gothic novel unit. We get to choose one gothic novel to read and the one that I chose out of our very limited options was Jane Eyre. I really enjoyed the fairy tales unit so I plan on doing a couple of posts (or something bigger) with that genre. This project is still in the works but it will be announced sometime in the next 5-6 weeks (when it’s finally summer break).
As for the other HUGE project that I told y'all about before (either in the March wrap up or the April TBR post), it is still a major work in progress but I cannot wait to be able to expand my horizons and share it all with you. I haven’t had as much time as I would’ve like to work on this but it’s coming along -very, very- slowly. I hope that you'll like it as much as I do.
I will post the May TBR and other stuff happening in May either tonight or tomorrow. If you want to know exactly when I post it, either sign up to my newsletter or follow me on Bloglovin!
